About Bellevue

Bellevue is a city in Sarpy County, Nebraska. It lies south of Omaha, and is a short 15 to 20 minute commute from most parts of Omaha. The population was 44,000 according to the 2000 census, but had grown to approximately 48,000 by 2006. It was incorporated in 1855 and is the largest and third oldest city in Nebraska.
