I just listed a wonderful little doll house just a block South of Center Street on 46th Street. I just listed a wonderful home in Bellevue and I am excited to share this information with you. There seems to be a lot of misinformation about the state of the real estate market in and around the Omaha metro area, especially on the finance side. Yes there are banks who are in trouble because they lent money foolishly to anyone who could hold a pen, not necessarily a job. All this is changing now. The good new is for borrowers with decent credit there are great deals on homes and at great interest rates. I checked with TierOneBank and they are quoting 6% for a 30 year fixed mortgage with not discount or origination fee. And for most of my first time homebuyers we are closing below 6% with seller paying all the closing costs. So lets go shopping for a great deal on a home!
